Yafeu reviews: Uwajimaya

IMG_0217IMG_0215At the Uwajimaya Deli I got the Lucky Bowl which is Rice, Chow Mein or Fried Rice, and two entrees. I got Chow Mein, Mongolian Beef and Orange Chicken. The Chow Mein was fine, just basically noodles. The Mongolian Beef was really good, a little spicy and had bell pepper, onions, and beef. The Orange Chicken I didn’t like. It was breaded chicken with orange sauce on it. It was too sweet and I don’t really like chicken anyway. The Sesame Balls were fried balls of dough with sesame seeds on the outside and bean paste on the inside. They were delicous!

My dad got the Congee porridge. It just tasted like porridge.

It was savory and had stuff on top, but I didn’t taste any of the stuff on top.

The Restaurant was a food court. We went there for lunch. I saw different little food windows. There were a lot of tables. It was pretty much full the tables are shared. I heard lots of people talking. Uwajimaya is a store, too. It has been around since 1928. It’s an Asian grocery store and gift market. There is also a bookstore inside. They sell candy. I’ve been there before. I came back because they have a good food court. I would recommend Uwajimaya.
