I went to Rom Mai Thai with my papa and my aunt Catherine. We went for lunch. It was a pretty big restaurant but it was not very full and we did not have to wait for a long time. The food was really good and I got mango juice which was also delicious.
As an appetizer we got egg rolls with a sauce that was A little sour, spicy and sweet; I liked it. I got pad see ew with beef it was more chewy and flavorful then the pad see ew with pork that my aunt got. The noodles in the pad see ew were a good texture and not too mushy. The broccoli was not crispy or mushy and not overcooked it was delicious. My papa got a salad that was kind of like coleslaw with tofu and peanuts in it. I liked the salad too.
I recommend Rom Mai Thai for lunch or dinner. It’s in Capitol Hill. There’s a different Thai place that I usually go to, but I like this one more. This was my first time trying it and I will go back!
