Araya’s Place is a little vegan Thai restaurant with a lunch buffet it is in Madison Valley. There is also one in the University District. They serve coconut water in whole coconuts! (It also has gluten free food.)
My papa and I both chose the buffet. I tried some of my papa’s Tom Yum Soup. It was kind-of sweet, a little sour, and a little spicy. It had some really yummy mushrooms in it. It was really warm when we got it and it looked like it had some spices on the top. I also had some fried kale, it was super crispy and crunchy and salty and kind-of sweet. It had sesame seeds on it. I really liked that. We also had Pad Thai, which was a little sour and kind-of sticky in a good way. I also tried and liked: Fried Rice with carrots and peas, Brown Rice, Veggie Satay, Fried in Chili Sauce, and Fried Spring Rolls and sauce.
For dessert we had Black Rice Pudding With Coconut Milk. It was kind-of chewy and mushy and very flavorful. I loved the texture and the taste.
I like Araya’s Place and would definitely go there again. It is good for lunch and dinner.

Your review made my mouth water. Grandpa Jon will definitely want the lamb dish when he visits.
