I went to Med Mix because my cousin Andrew and his sweetie Ken came to our house at lunch time. My papa, Andrew, Ken, my little cousins, and I went to Med Mix! It is in the Central District and there is construction going on right next to it but it was easy to park anyway. The restaurant is 100% Halal.
We went there for lunch it was kind-of small but we were not squished and it wasn’t too crowded but the food was very good, and the people who worked there were very nice.
There was music but it wasn’t too loud. I liked all the food except the halva because it tasted like tahini. They had a cheeseburger on the menu but I thought that was weird because I’m almost certain that isn’t Mediterranean food. The hummus was so good. The kofta kebab (which is what I got) was kind-of spicy, but really really good. It was made of meat and served on a little bit of cabbage. The pita was SO good and greasy! My papa’s falafel was pretty good; it was green on the inside and crispy brown on the outside.
I would love to go there again. Next time I’ll try something new!
