I went to Spice Waala with my papa for lunch. It is an Indian restaurant in Capitol Hill. It is not too loud but doesn’t have a lot of seating. They cater and have vegan options.
My papa got the bhel puri which is one of the appetizers. It is puffed rice and crispy noodles in a tart, sweet, and herby sauce. I liked it a little and my papa liked it a lot. The mango lassi is very thick and very very sweet. The aloo tikki roll is a roll with potato and veggie patties in it. It is not too chewy. I liked it. The lamb kebab roll is very rich; the meat is tender and the dosa is nicely chewy.
Spice Waala is good for lunch or a snack. Next time I go I will get the lamb kebab roll again.
Thank you, Yafeu!
