Me, my brother and my dad went to Dough Zone for lunch. It was very busy but we still got a table pretty fast. There were these little felt things hanging from the ceiling!
I ordered some sour plum juice that was smoky, sweet and a little bit bitter. I also got a red bean bao. It was very soft and warm; the bean paste inside was sweet and thick. The shrimp and pork steamed dumplings were almost too juicy because when I ate the first one it squirted everywhere! But they were delicious anyway. The pork was in a ball around the shrimp!
Another thing we got was the banana naan bread which was very good even though it didn’t taste a lot like bananas. It came with whipped cream! My papa got the fruit flavored seaweed which was super crunchy and I didn’t like that much.
Dough Zone is a good place to go for lunch and probably dinner.
Where is Dough Zone located? It would be nice to see a picture of the felt things hanging from the ceiling.

It’s in the International District in the same building as Uwajimaya. We will have to go back for pictures of the felt things. Papa says they he imagines they are the circles cut out of the felt that Carlene gave us.

So very glad to see this review, Nieto! I’m sorry we didn’t get a chance to visit some of your favorites restaurants.in February. Perhaps we can do so later this year! Your descriptions of the food make me hungry! Stay safe and well!! Nana
